General Information
Situated between Pretoria & Johannesburg, Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge is a dynamic yet peaceful venue in the tranquil African Bush.
Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge and other portions of land surrounding Lake Heritage is part of the Cradle Moon Conservation area. This exciting project involves the dropping of fences between properties and the introduction of various wild animals.
Our Venue provides a perfect natural setting for beautiful wedding photographs.
Ceremony Venue
The Lake Heritage Chapel is the perfect setting for your ceremony . Say “I do” with a spectacular view of Lake Heritage and the Zwartkop Mountains as the back drop.
Reception Venue
The Cradle Moon reception venue overlooks Lake heritage and can seat up to 160 guest .
We provide tables ,Chairs Cutlery & Crockery and staff will be allocated to look after you and your guests.
Cradle Moon does not supply any décor, or any other service providers. You are more than welcome to bring your own providers.
Wedding Package
Below is our package information for a minimum of 50 guests up to a maximum of 160 guests:
R 1350.00 per person
R 675.00 per child ( 5-12 years)
Children 0-4 years Free of charge
Children 13 and older pays Adult rate

The reception venue with Tables and Chairs
Conservancy fee of R 50.00 per person
Cutlery, Crockery, Glasses & White Napkins
Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic welcome drinks
Welcome Snacks (Chefs choice)
Buffet Dinner – See menu attached
Barmen & Waiters as well as our wedding co-ordinator to assist with all the pre-wedding arrangements.
Accommodation for the Bridal couple on the wedding night. (only if 50 or more guests attend the wedding)
One bungalow will be made available from 07h00 on the day of the wedding for the bridal party to get ready .
Not Included
Table cloths or any décor ( flowers , runners etc)
DJ or Music equipment
Minister or wedding official
Printing of menus, table plans or name cards for tables.
Extra Costs
Wine & champagne on the tables: You are welcome to choose from our wine list and will be charged accordingly, please see the wine list attached
Bar arrangements: Cradle Moon Lakeside Game lodge has a fully lisenced bar. You can arrange to have a cash bar or a master account. Should you choose to have a master account we will require a limit that will be added to your invoice upfront. NO own Alcohol may be brought in. NO TABS or Room charges will be permitted.
Use of the Game drive vehicle for the Bridal photoshoot: Our Guide will be available to transport the Bride and Groom around the lodge area for a one hour couple photoshoot at a cost R 1500.00 (max of 9 guests incl the photographer)
Guest Accommodation/Game Drives/Boat Cruise- Guests are welcome to book accommodation directly with reservations. Please refer to the rate sheet attached.
Staff Gratuity: A fee of 10% will be added to the invoice.
Other Arrangements
We have a list of Service Providers that will gladly assist you with everthing you require, from décor, flowers, music, a wedding cake to hair and make up. Note that we do however not take any resposibility for the work of any of the suppliers and we advise that you deal directly with them.
Set up by suppliers can be done from 07h00 the morning of the wedding.
Any damages to the chapel or venue caused by Suppliers or Guests will be added to the wedding invoice.
